11U Nats downed in hard-fought opening round game

The 11U Nats lost to East Chatham in a hard-fought battle in Pittsboro, 10-2.

Left fielder Brian Holden, Jr. had one hit and scored on a line drive hit from Watt Hendrix to start the scoring for the 11U Nats.

Hudson Guelbert and Sawyer Webb added timely hits and Shortstop Hunter Forrest added another run in the bottom of the fifth.

Nick Gauder, Hendrix, Bryce Chilson, and Levi Stewart combined to strike out 6 East Chatham hitters.

The 11U Nats now move on to face East Surry at 1PM on Sunday, June 23.
