It was a banner year for our All-Stars. Literally.

2018 was a year to remember for the Winston-Salem Nationals All-star and TOC teams. Every group up and down the roster competed in a very big way. Both our 8-9 and 11 year old TOC teams played in their District Championship games.

- Our 11-12 (Majors) team worked really hard and hosted the District 2 tournament at The Bridge. The team was dominant until they ran into a very good King Little League team coming up just one run shy of taking another District 2 title.

- Our 7-8 TOC team won the District 2 Championship 9-4 over Northwest Little League and was undefeated through the tournament. The win marked the Nationals third District 2 championship in the last 4 years.

- Our 9-10 (Minors) team won it all! After cruising through the District 2 tournament the Nats rolled through state play undefeated winning 7 games in a row. The team then traveled to Greenville, NC to compete in the Tournament of State Champions. A collections of the 8 best team in the southeast. After a 2-1 lose to South Carolina in which the Nationals threw a combined no-hitter, the Nats fought back winning the next 4 games. The title game was a rematch with South Carolina that saw them take a 5-run lead into the bottom of the fourth. The Nats didn't quit and chipped away at the lead until they ultimately closed the game out with an 8-6 victory.
