12U Nats take down South LL in first game

The 12U Nats got off to a hot start against the South Little League All Stars and kept the pressure on throughout to win 11-0 in 4 innings.

Catcher Mitchell Setliff got the scoring started with a single to left field, scoring shortstop Spencer Dixson. Nats hitters Tyke Guyton, Bland Forrest, Wilson Lassiter and Findlay Amrich drove in 5 runs collectively to close out the scoring in the first inning to give the 12U Nats a 6-0 lead after one.

Nats pitcher Louis Givens was dominant on the mound, striking out 8 in three no-hit innings of service. Daniel Ertl closed out the game, striking out one.

Setliff and Lassiter each had multiple RBIs in the game and the Nats 12U team had a clean sheet defensively as they error-free for the game.

The 12U Nats are in action at 1PM on Saturday, June 22.
