9U Nats fall in opener

The 9U Nats fell to Kernersville in their opening game. 

Starting pitcher Matthew Henry supplied one hit and one RBI while striking out 2 Kernersville batters on the mound.

Oliver Maki was able to utilize smart baserunning to score on Henry's RBI in the top of the third.

Conner Coffey struck out 2 Kernersville batters in one inning of work.

They now face Northwest Forsyth at 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 23.
